Kurt Madsen spent better than 30 years fixing other people's plumbing before going out on his own, most of it in commercial and residential service, including a long run with Any Hour Services up in Salt Lake City. The drive got old, and so did watching Carbon and Emery counties wait around for somebody to come this far south. So he started The Swell Plumber, built on the idea that people out here ought to be able to get a good plumber without begging one to make the trip.
Service plumbing is its own animal, and the training that goes into it runs deeper than most new construction work requires, which is why a repair done right tends to outlast the one done fast. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, along with a simpler promise: you'll hear what's actually wrong, in plain words, before anybody starts turning wrenches. Good plumbing makes life better, and getting yours back to the point where you never think about it is the whole point of what we do.

Twelve years or so is about all you can ask of a typical water heater before it starts hinting at retirement. Water heater installation and repair fills a good part of our week, covering repair, replacement, maintenance, and units for new construction, in traditional tank, tankless, electric, and heat pump versions.
Trouble underground has a way of announcing itself sideways, like a patch of grass that stays green all summer or a water bill that climbs for no clear reason. Sewer and water line services from us cover repair and replacement on both, along with underground sewer laterals, aboveground sewer piping, underground water lines, and main service lines past the municipal connection.
Everybody keeps a mental list of little plumbing things they mean to get around to eventually. Plumbing repairs and leak detection are how we knock those out, from toilets and faucets to fixtures, garbage disposal repair and installation, general troubleshooting, and regular service calls at homes and small commercial properties.
Tired of hauling propane tanks back and forth for the grill? Running a permanent line out to a BBQ or fire pit ranks among the more satisfying gas line services we do, right alongside installation, repair, replacement, gas leak detection, and inspections. Everything goes into code, whether that means piping for a new build, an extension to what you already have, or work at a light commercial property.
Plumbing installation and remodeling make up a good chunk of our work, including kitchen and bathroom plumbing, remodels, new fixtures, and new construction plumbing. Faucet, sink, and toilet installation, appliance hookups, dishwashers, ice maker water lines, washing machine hookups, and outdoor hose bibs all fall under it too.
Our plumbing maintenance plans come in residential and commercial versions that bundle annual inspections, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, and priority scheduling when you need us out. Water heater maintenance, gas line inspections, fixture checks, and leak detection inspections can go in as well, which is usually how the small stuff gets spotted while it is still small.
